God’s First Step for You is to Wait

Truth: God has brand new plans for your life. They are good, life-giving and world changing. When you slow down enough to wait and listen, God will fill your heart, your mind and your imagination with a revelation of Himself and of Your future.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I know that You have good things for me. Help me to hunger for You today. I know that Your plans for me are good and I need to be still long enough to hear the loudness of your voice and the clarity of your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray for the West African nation of Ghana. Though 63% of the population call themselves Christian, much of daily life is filled with spiritism, tribal worship practices and a growing secularism. Pray that a spiritual hunger would begin in the hearts of believers and spread to the nominal Christians!
God Strengthens Us Through Opposition

Truth: God knows that when you join His mission to fill the earth with His presence, His love and His forgiveness, Satan and his evil demons will oppose you at every step. When you walk with God, He will grant you the peace of His presence and strengthen you each day.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for being with me each day of my journey. I ask that You would help me to focus on the power of Your presence rather than the opposition that faces me each day. Help me to walk in faith, knowing that You have overcome the world! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God Asks Us to Align with His Will

Truth: God’s best for you begins when you decide to walk in the freedom and wholeness of His will. When you are aligned with His will, God will bless your efforts with “good fruit” and will grant you the desires of your heart.
Scripture: “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit–fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.” John 15:16
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Today I receive the appointment that You have assigned to me. I will bear good fruit that will last and will share with others the wonderful blessing of a reconciled life. Help me to match my desires to your heart and ask for Your Kingdom to come, in earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Located on the far western desert of the Sahara this North African nation has a rich history that is being challenged today by poverty, slavery, human trafficking and radical islam. God Desires Reconciliation

Truth: From the moment that sin entered the world, God has had an eternal plan to bring people back in to relationship with Him. Granting you the power of choice means that you can decide today to be reconciled with God through Jesus Christ, live in harmony with him and extend His invitation of reconciliation to others.
Scripture: “All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:18
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for passionately and eternally loving me. Your desire to be reconciled with me and to restore my heart is a gift of love that I can never repay. Help me today to instead extend this good news to others so that we might all be reconciled to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God Invites Us to Participate in His Purpose

Truth: God’s plan for restoring His kingdom begins with You! When you choose to be a part of His kingdom, He agreed to always be present, and always be active whenever You join with others to praise and worship His name. He inhabits the praises of His people.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for inviting me to join You in sharing Your name, and declaring Your glory in my world. Help me to remember that when I join with other believers You are present and You will extend Your kingdom in power and forgiveness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God Came to Spread His Love

Truth: God overcame evil with love and promises to pour out His love in us when we open our hearts to the presence of His Holy Spirit. Your choice of obedience today opens your heart to experience the presence of God, His wisdom, comfort and blessing.

Prayer: Gracious Father, Thank Your for being committed to spreading Your love throughout the whole earth. I choose today to open my own heart to Your love and am confident that as I do, the bitterness of my past, the fears of today and my anxiousness about tomorrow will melt in the presence of Your love. God Came to Destroy Evil

Truth: God sent His Son, Jesus, to this earth so that the power of evil could once and for all be broken. His mission was to destroy the work of the devil and to establish a kingdom that would bring hope, healing and restoration. When you follow Jesus, you automatically join His good work in the world!
Scripture: “He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” 1 John 3:8
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to this earth to pay the price for my sin and brokenness. I know that when I choose to follow His path, that I will join Him in working to counter evil in this world by sharing His goodness, mercy and forgiveness to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God Wants His Kingdom to Rule

Truth: God created and designed the earth, and its people, to live an operate by the principles of His kingdom. His greatest desire is that all of humankind would turn from their waywardness and find wholeness, hope and blessing through His Son Jesus and the ways of His Kingdom.
Scripture: “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!” Mark 1:15
Prayer: Eternal Father, Thank You for making it possible for me to return to the plan that You created for my good. I choose to repent today from my own selfish desires and instead follow You, Your ways and Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray for the nation of France where there are more people employed by the occult than doctors, and 10 times more than evangelical pastors and missionaries. Ask the Lord for a breakthrough outpouring of His Spirit on this “dark” land.
God Wants to Grant You His Peace at all Times

Truth: God has created a “space” for your heart to find peace and rest. That “space” is found in His presence, meditating each day on the truth of His word and through the encouragement of His people. When You follow His ways the result will be an unshakeable peace.

Prayer: Eternal Father, You are the creator of all good things and the promise of peace. Help me to focus my devotion, my allegiance and the ambitions of my life on You and You alone. I know then that this will bring me peace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Truth: God has good things planned for you. Every day. When you make the effort to choose and do right at each turn, it positions you to receive more of His blessings and to pass them on to others. You become a conduit of His riches to others!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Sometimes my heart and mind can grow “weary in well doing.” Today I yield to Your ways and promise to ask You for direction and flow in your wisdom so that my strength will be returned! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
