God Came to Spread His Love

Truth: God overcame evil with love and promises to pour out His love in us when we open our hearts to the presence of His Holy Spirit. Your choice of obedience today opens your heart to experience the presence of God, His wisdom, comfort and blessing.

Prayer: Gracious Father, Thank Your for being committed to spreading Your love throughout the whole earth. I choose today to open my own heart to Your love and am confident that as I do, the bitterness of my past, the fears of today and my anxiousness about tomorrow will melt in the presence of Your love. God Came to Destroy Evil

Truth: God sent His Son, Jesus, to this earth so that the power of evil could once and for all be broken. His mission was to destroy the work of the devil and to establish a kingdom that would bring hope, healing and restoration. When you follow Jesus, you automatically join His good work in the world!
Scripture: “He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” 1 John 3:8
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to this earth to pay the price for my sin and brokenness. I know that when I choose to follow His path, that I will join Him in working to counter evil in this world by sharing His goodness, mercy and forgiveness to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God Wants His Kingdom to Rule

Truth: God created and designed the earth, and its people, to live an operate by the principles of His kingdom. His greatest desire is that all of humankind would turn from their waywardness and find wholeness, hope and blessing through His Son Jesus and the ways of His Kingdom.
Scripture: “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!” Mark 1:15
Prayer: Eternal Father, Thank You for making it possible for me to return to the plan that You created for my good. I choose to repent today from my own selfish desires and instead follow You, Your ways and Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God Wants to Grant You His Peace at all Times

Truth: God has created a “space” for your heart to find peace and rest. That “space” is found in His presence, meditating each day on the truth of His word and through the encouragement of His people. When You follow His ways the result will be an unshakeable peace.

Prayer: Eternal Father, You are the creator of all good things and the promise of peace. Help me to focus my devotion, my allegiance and the ambitions of my life on You and You alone. I know then that this will bring me peace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Truth: God has a plan for you to become whole and it begins with a focus on Him and a commitment to be accountable to those whose hearts are pointed in the same direction. When you choose to submit the details of your life to others whose heart for God promises to protect, guide and strengthen you, God will increase His blessing in Your life so that you can do the same for others.
Scripture: “If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of him. Do not associate with him, in order that he may feel ashamed.” 2 Thessalonians 3:14
Prayer: Eternal Father, Your plans for me are good, never failing and eternal. Help me to follow Your path today and to surround myself with productive and kingdom focused people so that I may increase my love for you and my contributions toward your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God Knows that if You are not Busy You will Become a Busybody

Truth: God’s best for you begins when You follow Him and then choose to serve and love others. This pattern of receiving the blessings from God and being used to be a blessing to others, builds in an opportunity to be used and, at the same time, a wall of protection from being a “busybody.”

Prayer: Gracious Father, Thank You for knowing and understanding my nature. You know that when I choose to follow You, and to use my overflow time and resources to bless others, it will my heart to stay pure and will free my hands to bless others. Truth: God knows that when your faith in Him connects with your own commitment to work you will find contentment and purpose. This is why His word says that if you don’t work, you shouldn’t eat. Productivity is your part in His law of sowing and reaping.
Scripture: “For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “If a man will not work, he shall not eat.” 2 Thessalonians 3:10
Prayer: Eternal Father, I thank You for the law of sowing and reaping. I know that when I work with an excellent heart, You will reward me with the supply that I need every day plus store up for me rewards in heaven. I choose today to follow You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Truth: God’s design for you includes being a role model for other’s who are just beginning their journey with Him. When you follow and obey His word, God will bless you with an abundance to share with those in need and a modeled lifestyle that others can follow.

On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to make ourselves a model for you to follow.” 2 Thessalonians 3:7-9

Truth: God knows that the best way for you to stay strong your faith and to grow in your witness for Him is to surround yourself with other believers that are passionate about making God famous. When you create accountable friendships that propel you forward in God, He will increase His revelation in your heart and impart wisdom to your mind.
Scripture: “In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers, to keep away from every brother who is idle and does not live according to the teaching you received from us.” 2 Thessalonians 3:6
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank you for designing my heart and mind for good. I know that Your plan will help me to grow in You and to make You famous in the earth. Help me to build relationships within Your family that will increase my passion for You and my desire to do Your will. In Jesus, name, Amen.
