It’s time to begin gearing up for the Chesapeake 18th Annual Paint Your Heart Out Event. The Greenbrier Church crew has been involved in this outreach for the last several years. We meet together, go to a home that has been selected for a mini-makeover (paint and landscape style), and work together showing the love of …Christ in our community. We’re hoping to have as large a crowd as we can. Please strongly consider coming out to join us. Here are the details of the event:
Our Paint Day is April 17th.
Meet at 8:30 AM at the church. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided, as well as a Buffalo Wild Wings After Party if you wish.
We are usually there till 2 or 3 PM.
Bring yourself, we will provide the rest.

Propel Youth Homeless Outreach

Come be the hands of Christ and serve the homeless a meal. This is a great opportunity to imitate Christ to people who desperately need Him. We will meet at the church to prepare and box the meal. Then we’ll head to Portsmouth to deliver the goodies to some folks who are not as fortunate as us, some folks that don’t have a home. This will be a GREAT way to show the ♥ of Jesus to others. Being physically fit is a pre-requisite. This team will trek from village to village over 7 days presenting skits, music, the Jesus film and conversations with indigenous people of Nepal. Applications approved by Global Missions Committee.

Cost: $450
Team Size: OPEN
Students get to invest your time and energy into s variety of mission projects (choose between Children’s Ministry, Games and Recreation, Social Ministry, Creative Ministry or Painting, construction, and yard work). During the day your students are challenged and stretched as individuals; in the evenings, you’ll have the opportunity to build group unity over dinner, worship, fellowship and devotions.

Propel Annual Picture Scavenger Hunt

Come after church on Sunday and have some fun with friends eating pizza, hanging out, and going from place to place taking some hilarious pictures. We’ll meet at the church at 1:00. Have lunch. (Delicious PIZZA!) Then get grouped up to go take some pics. We’ll meet back up at church to let the judging begin. We should have it all wrapped up by 4:00PM. Bring along your friends and prepare for a grand time.
