Jesus is Coming Back, Literally

Truth:  God is sending His Son Jesus back to earth so that every person who has received Him as Savior will live forever with God.  When you turn your life over to Jesus and ask him to free you from the bondage and penalty of sin, He promises to deliver you from evil and to bring you into eternity with Him.

Scripture: “According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.”  1 Thessalonians 4:15-16

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, Thank You for loving me so much that You have made it possible for me to be restored back to an eternal relationship with You.  Help me live faithful and to walk according to the riches of Your word so that I can enjoy Your mercies and goodness in my life – here and now – and for eternity.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

One Year Bible Reading: Leviticus 13:1-59, Mark 6:1-29, Psalm 39:1-13, Proverbs 10:10

Pray for the nation of Cote d’Ivoire, a land divided by Islam and other faiths. Pray that the Christians living in the south will find freedom to worship, to share their faith and to walk in abundance so that others might hear the Good News.
