God Wants You to Have Love for One Another

Truth: God has created a spiritual family for you to both give and receive the purity of his unselfish love.  When you become aware of the miracle change God is working in your heart, there also is an increasing measure of love for others. God wants you to have love for others.

Scripture: “Now about brotherly love we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other. And in fact, you do love all the brothers throughout Macedonia. Yet we urge you, brothers, to do so more and more.”  1 Thessalonians 4:9-10

Prayer: Loving Father, Thank You for pouring Your love out in my heart through the power of Your Holy Spirit.  I am grateful that regardless of what I have done or where I have been Your love is sufficient to forgive, to redeem and to restore. Help me to pass along heart-felt love to others in the same way you have poured out your love to me.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray for the nation of Chad, that the unity of the spirit would strengthen the fledgling church and that the supernatural power of the God’s Spirit would overcome Islam, competing tribal religions and economic disparity.
