God is in Charge of Jesus’ Return

Truth:  God created the universe and is continually involved in orchestrating history so that all may come to a saving knowledge of Him.  When You choose to belong to God’s family, He guarantees that at the right time He will end the evil of this age and usher in a new kingdom with You right in the middle of it.

Scripture: “We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.”  1 Thessalonians 4:14

Prayer:  Gracious Father,  Thank You for taking care of my past, my present and my future.  I can rest today, knowing that You are in charge, that my days are organized, numbered and thoughtfully planned out to honor You and to share Your goodness with others. Help me to focus on Your plans for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

One Year Bible Reading: Leviticus 11:1-12:8, Mark 5:21-43, Psalm 38:1-22, Proverbs 10:8-9

Pray for the Cook Islands and its 150-year legacy of Christianity would not fade away and be replaced by secularism, Mormons or Jehovah Witnesses.
