God Set the Ground Rules for a Perfect Marriage
September 30, 2011
Truth: God has established a foundation for a healthy and lasting marriage. To help provide for healthy marriages God has asked that husbands and wives mutually submit to one another. When they do and Christ is at the center, their homes will be filled with peace and harmony.
Scripture: “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” Ephesians 5:21
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for helping us to know how to begin and how to maintain a healthy relationship. You desire for us to mutually honor one another by submitting our plans, dreams and preferences to each other. Help me to humble myself today and to place you in the center of my marriage by honoring and submitting to the desires and needs of my spouse. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
God Created Wives to Respect their Husbands
September 29, 2011
Truth: God has made wives (women) different than their husbands (men). He designed wives to find their greatest purpose in marriage by giving respect and honor to their husbands. When a wife respects her husband for who God made him to be then everyone – the husband, children, friend and family – can more clearly see the glory of God in action.
Scripture: “Each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” Ephesians 5:33
Prayer: Heavenly Father, You are good and I know that Your plans are for my good. Thank You for clearly defining the roles for a fruitful and successful marriage. Just as You honored and respected me, You are asking every wife to respect their husbands unconditionally. Grant me the strength to walk in Your truth and to honor my husband in the way You have designed a holy and pure marriage. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Truth: God has made husbands (men) different than their wives (women). He designed husbands to find their greatest purpose in marriage by showing unconditional love and care for their wives. When a husband loves his wife regardless of her response everyone – the wife, children, friends, and family – can more clearly see the love of God in action.
Scripture: “Each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” Ephesians 5:33
Prayer: Holy Father, You are good and I know that Your plans are for my good. Thank You for clearly defining the roles for a fruitful and successful marriage. Just as You have loved me unconditionally, You are asking every husband to love their wives unconditionally. Grant me the strength to walk in Your truth and to love my wife in the way You have designed a holy and pure marriage. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
God Wants You to Please Your Spouse
September 27, 2011
Truth: God has place in the heart of every husband and every wife a desire to please and honor their spouse. Since God demonstrates his love for the church through the model of a godly marriage, He is intimately concerned about your marriage – and He wants the best for you!

I know that when I replace my own desire for self-satisfaction with a motive to please and honor her/him – You are honored and pleased. God has the Best in Mind for Your Marriage
September 26, 2011
Truth: God’s plan for marriage that begins with the wife transferring her allegiance from the spiritual and natural authority of her parents to her husband’s new home. When you commit first God and then to one another, God’s blessings will flow in your home.
Scripture: “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.” Genesis 2:24
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for the blessings You have given me through my family. I know that You have ordained marriage to begin with the wife transitioning her loyalty and allegiance to her husband and the husband leading the new family in sacrificial love and care. Help me to follow the role that You have placed in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You were made very unique and special to Him and he separated all of humanity in two categories: men and women. We are different too! When we honor God and the unique design God has given to each of us God is most pleased; harmony fills our hearts and love is the foundation for all of our relationships.
Scripture: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:27
Prayer: Gracious Father, Thank You for shaping me with a unique imprint from You. Help me to see the amazing value that You have placed in others, and to honor the way You have made men and women differently. God Wants Your Heart to be for Your Children
September 24, 2011
Truth: God placed you in a family both to grow your love for others and to help you understand His deep and abiding love for you. Every parent enjoys giving good gifts to their children and the Heavenly Father wants to provide the joy and power of His presence as a gift to everyone who asks!
Scripture: “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Luke 11:11-13
Prayer: Heavenly Father, You are good and ever gracious. Every day You provide blessing and favor to me, much more than I deserve. Help me to understand today that just as You love me and want the best for me, so I can be filled with love and devotion for my children. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Scripture: “May our sons flourish in their youth like well-nurtured plants. May our daughters be like graceful pillars, carved to beautify a palace.” Psalms 144:12
