God Uses Your Past for a Good Future
May 31, 2011
Truth: God is good and every time He is allowed to intervene in your life He turns things for God – even the painful or hurtful events of the past. The best way for you to live in peace and freedom is to give God your past and live your present and your future for Him.
Scripture: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son…” Romans 8:28-29
Prayer: Eternal Creator, Thank You for loving me and for wanting my best in every situation. Today I trust that You are working in every part of my life: teaching me to follow You; creating in me a heart that will make wise choices and a spirit that will worship You. You are a Good God, and I love You and all Your ways. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
God Wants You to be Free Now
May 30, 2011
Truth: God’s greatest desire for you is to be free from the grip of sin and to enjoy a deep lasting friendship with Him. When you decide to choose Him, He promises to wipe away all condemnation and to free you from the consequences and penalties of sin!
Scripture: “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for providing me with a clean, pure and fresh start today. I know that you have buried the sin of my past and no longer condemn me. Instead you have set me free to live a life of joy and righteousness in You. Help me today to resist the condemnation the enemy may bring my way and stay strong in Your freedom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God Has Called You to Pure Freedom
May 29, 2011
Truth: God’s best for you begins with receiving His forgiveness and then living each day committed to His ways. When You live for Him and not for your own desires God will give you the power to live in pure freedom – free from lustful desires and lack of self-control. Instead God will grant you the ability to live whole and pure before Him and others.
Scripture: “For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.” 1 Thess. 4:7
Prayer: Gracious Father, Today I ask that You would make Your love and forgiveness abundantly clear to me. Help me to receive the beauty of Your forgiveness and to walk out my day free from the temptations that surround me. I choose to cling to You knowing that it is in You that I find wholeness and purity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
God Delivers Those Who Choose His Ways
May 28, 2011
Truth: God’s plan is simple. If you will receive salvation through His son Jesus, He will place His Spirit inside of you and give you the strength to live according to His plan. And, when You live His way, God promises you victory over the sin that wears you down and the thoughts which keep you from living a fruitful life.
Scripture: “Let those who love the Lord, hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Light is shed upon the righteous and joy on the upright in heart.” Psalms 9:10-11
Prayer: Eternal and Loving Father. Thank You for making a way to live in peace today. I welcome You to be in charge of my life today and begin with asking You to forgive me for my sin and to strengthen my resolve to live for You, to hate evil and to walk comfortably in what You have provided. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
God Can Provide Total Freedom
May 27, 2011
Truth: God wants you to be free from the burden and bondage of sin. He created a simple process for you to find complete freedom! It begins with you confessing your wrongdoing to Him and receiving His forgiveness. He promises to cleanse you from all unrighteousness!
Scripture: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your promise of forgiveness and complete wholeness. I confess to You my shortcoming, my wrongful thoughts and improper actions. They have hurt others, wounded me and most of all, wounded You! Please cleanse me and purify my heart so that I can be whole and live to glorify You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
God’s Word Sets You Free
May 26, 2011
Truth: God’s word has power – power over the attacks of evil, power over lustful thoughts, and power over the bondage of sin. As you choose to receive and live in His power, God will free you from your past and establish you to live in peace with Him and with others.
Scripture: “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Cor. 10:3-5
Prayer: Eternal Father, Teach me today to focus on You and to resist the temptation to follow the thought processes and values of the world around me. I know that You are Truth and that the truth will set me free from the mindsets of the world. Help me to follow You and to walk in the freedom You provide. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Following God Frees You From Sin
May 25, 2011
Truth: Sin kills. It may look attractive for the moment, but in the end making wrong choices and living a lifestyle that is focused on “me first” always brings about devastating consequences. Your own heart will shrivel in pain; family and friends will withdraw their care and concern and you will be left alone. But there is another option: when you choose to follow God, He promises to free you from this vicious cycle of pain and restore to you joy and blessing.
Scripture: “But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.” Rom 6:22
Prayer: Thank You, Almighty God for sending Your Son, Jesus who sacrificed His life for me. You have granted me grace and mercy instead of what my sinful actions deserve. Help me to understand the amazing grace that You have offered to me through the death and resurrection of Your Son Jesus; and then grant me the strength and boldness to live a life of purity, holiness and joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
God’s Ways are Filled With Reward
May 24, 2011
Truth: God’s word is filled with promises, with instructions and with principles that guide His creation. His word is true, it comes true and it stays true every day. When you point your life toward the blessings of His presence, God will reward with you with overflowing joy and blessing.
Scripture: “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:7-9
Prayer: Eternal Father, help me today to follow Your path. You have created it for my good, and I want to invest in Your ways so that I will reap a harvest of blessing. I choose to invest in Your kingdom, to follow Your ways, and to share Your goodness with others so that they will experience Your abundance. Thank You for generously meeting all my needs and creating in me a heart of generosity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
