God Owns it All

Truth: The way to live free from debt and the entanglement of our materialistic world is to yield ownership of what you have back to God.  After all, He already owns it and He has plans to prosper you with it!  When you instead allow God to shoulder the responsibility for your daily needs God will do for you what only He can do – He is the great provider.  Safe within His care you will be free to follow Jesus and His Word, putting into practice a lifestyle that reflects honoring God, enjoying His provision and having enough left over to be a blessing to others.

Scripture: “The silver is mine and the gold is mine, says the Lord Almighty.” Haggai 2:8

Prayer: Dear Lord, Today I yield back the ownership and responsibility of my life and my possessions to you.  Rather than attempting to be “in charge” over every complexity, I ask You to help me to learn to follow Your instructions and to trust in Your ways.  They are higher and better than mine (Isaiah 55:9). In Jesus name, Amen.
