God’s Love Lasts Forever

Truth:  The love and affection of those around us doesn’t always last.  In fact, often times it is not even predictably consistent. But the Creator God is different.  His love for you will last for eternity and His plans for you are for your benefit.  When you respond to His love, He will never neglect or ignore you.  That is the truth of His word.  Even Abraham Lincoln said of the Bible:  “The best gift God has given to man…”

Scripture:  Our Scripture reading today is 2 Chronicles 35 – Ezra 10 and the key verse is: “With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the LORD: ‘He is good; his love to Israel endures forever.’ And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid. Ezra 3:11

Prayer:  Loving Heavenly Father, Today I am turning to you to find the affirmation and affection that I need.  Help me to stop turning toward others to meet the needs that only You can fill.  As I study Your word today help me to give praise, to offer thanks and to exclaim my love for You.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
