Wait for One Another
February 9, 2010 · Print This Article
Truth: God asks each of us to put away our “me first” attitudes and to choose to “wait” for one another. Patient courtesy offered to others reflects a genuine appreciation for God’s creation and the dignity of each person.
Scripture: “So then, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for each other.” (I Cor 11:33)
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Your love is practical and is focused on passing on the incredible blessings that we have received. Help me today to be less consumed with my own needs and to show courtesy and patience toward others. Putting others first will demonstrate my love for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
