Love One Another

Truth:  The beginning point of every healthy relationship is love that prefers and honors others first. It is a Jesus’ style love that reaches out beyond the need for selfish affirmation to to love others before they have the ability return the favor or respond in kind.

Scripture: “A new command I give to you; Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” (John 13:34)

Prayer: Heavenly Father. I want to learn what it means to follow in the footsteps of your Son Jesus and to love others. Help me today to take the first step toward your new command and to always respond in love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
