Honor One Another

Truth: God’s pattern for peace and contentment begins with a right vertical relationship with Him and extends to a loving and caring horizontal relationship with His body – the church. Your can help your church family grow by honoring others above yourselves.

Scripture: “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.” (Romans 12:10)

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, You are asking something greater of me today.  Help me to move beyond my natural instincts of self-preservation and protection and begin to honor others above myself with acts of kindness, compliments and even seeking their promotion ahead of me.  As we learn to one honor one another I know we will experience a greater portion of Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
