The Must Have Gift

God’s plan for you is filled with his goodness, his presence and his power.  He loves you so much that he doesn’t want you to go through life on your own.  He has left us his written word, but also promises to fill us with his unquenchable power to demonstrate to others.

“Wait for the gift my Father has promised…you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:4,8)

Great Giver of Gifts, Father in Heaven today I asked to be filled, baptized, immersed and renewed in the power of the Holly Spirit.  I can see that in my every day decisions and actions I need more than what I have, and I ask you for the power to be a witness for you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
