Strength for Today

God promises you abundant life and contentment in each circumstance if you will do just two things each day – love Him with everything you have; and, care and love those around you just like you care for yourself.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

Dear Father, I know that you have promise abundant life for me.  But I have to admit I choose sometimes to create my own way instead of relying on you to be my source.  Help me to depend on you and to love you with every part of my being.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
