A Journey to Begin

For the next 31 days you and I are on a journey to discover the mission of God and the ultimate purpose and meaning for our own lives.  We have not been given the wisdom or strength to create or to sustain a place of harmony or lasting peace on our own.  But, we can find passion, meaning, purpose and fulfillment when we yield control of our own lives and join the mission of God.

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, whose thoughts are fixed on you!” (Psalm 26:3)

Heavenly Father, I will begin my journey today confident that you alone are the answer to end the anxiety stirring all around me.  Help me to remember that You will keep me in perfect, never-ending peace when my attention remains on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
