God is Here

Truth: Ever been faced with a daunting decision or a trial that doesn’t seem to go away?  Many times our instincts offer the feeble advice to work harder, to work smarter or to outlast the problem through perseverance.  There is another option – it is to cling fast to Jesus, who is God with us.

Scripture: “and they will call him Immanuel – which means, ‘God with us.’” (Matthew 1:22)

Prayer. Jesus, You are the eternal uncreated Being. You were before the earth was created and Your message of love and forgiveness began before the beginning of time.  Come in your might and love and be with me today.  And tomorrow. I invite You to come and dwell in my heart and never leave.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
