Jesus Will Meet You

Truth:  Jesus never asks you to face the challenges of life by yourself.  When He commissions you into His work, He promises to be with you at all times. Even when times get rough and the seas are stormy, you will never walk alone.

Scripture:  “When evening came, the boat was in the middle of the lake…He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was with them and He went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw Him they were terrified. Immediately He spoke to them and said, ‘Take courage, It is I. Don’t be afraid.” Then He climbed into the boat with them and the wind died down.” (Mark 6:45-52)

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, when the storms of life seem to overwhelm me I will trust in Your Son to rescue me.  I know that Jesus is able to be with me in my trouble and to end every trial that I face.  I will trust in You!  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
