Jesus Waits for You

Truth:  The Creator of the Universe deployed His only Son to earth for the specific mission of destroying the works of evil  (John 3:8) and bringing new life to all who follow Him.  When you are faced with a broken past, or are paralyzed by the present, Jesus is ready to deliver you from darkness to light!

Scripture:  “When Jesus saw [the invalid] lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, He asked him, ‘Do you want to get well?’  ‘Sir,’ the invalid replied, ‘I have no one to help me…’ Then Jesus said to him, ‘Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.’” (John 5:5-17)

Prayer:  God, You are full of grace and truth.  I come to you today, riddled from the impact of evil and the poor choices I have made.  I feel trapped. But I am asking Your Son, Jesus, to speak the words so that I can be healed and restored to the purpose You have for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
