Jesus is Able and Always Willing

Truth:  When the stranglehold of sickness, disease, trouble and pain saps the life out of us it is easy to dim our vision and lower our expectations of Jesus.  Sometimes we can even wonder if He is still willing to rescue us.  He is!

Scripture:  “A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, ‘Lord if you are willing, you can make me clean.’   Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. ‘I am willing,’ he said. ‘Be clean.” Immediately he was cured of leprosy.” (Matthew 8:1-3)

Prayer:  God, I know You are able to do anything. You created the universe and everything in it. But, honestly, sometimes I need to know that You are willing to help me.  Help me to trust the power of Your and allow Your truth to make me brand new.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
