Jesus Heals

Truth:  Desperation is a strong motivation.  When I feel pressed against a wall, or my heart is broken to pieces I am confronted with a choice: self-preservation or surrender.  The first option depends on my strength, the second on the healing power of Jesus!

Scripture:  “Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for 12 years came up and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, ‘If I only touch His cloak, I will be healed.’ Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,’ He said, ‘your faith has healed you.’ And the woman was healed from that moment.” (Matthew 9:20-22)

Prayer:  Merciful God, Rescue me today from the sickness and disease that plagues my mind and my body.  I have faith that You are more powerful than the issues that face me and I expect to be healed when You touch me.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
