Jesus Has Authority over Sickness

Truth:  There is a feeling of hopelessness that can settle over you when you are sick.  It is a sense that you are powerless to overcome its devastation.  Jesus has compassion on those who are sick and heals them!

Scripture:  “Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. So he bent over her and rebuked the fever and it left her. She got up at once!” (Luke 4:38-39)

Prayer:  Jesus, today my prayer is very simple. Can you come near to me and help me?  I need your healing.  And those that I know who are sick, rebuke their illness with the authority and power of your name, Jesus.  Amen.
