He holds every key

Truth:  God has the power to unlock the mysteries of life and death.  He has control of the beginning and the end of all things.  Even the grip of death is subject to His rule.  When you are connected with God there is nothing to fear in life or in death.

Scripture:  “I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” Rev. 1:18

Prayer:  Jesus, You are my Rescuer and Savior.  I will place all that I am in Your hands today. Forgive me of my wayward thoughts, my inclinations to do wrong and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I am asking You to cancel the punishment that I deserve and to prepare a place with You in eternity.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
