Experience Rome! VBS 2009!

This summer, you can become part of living history by being a part of our Vacation Bible School. This year, we’re going back to Roman times where the Apostle Paul is under house arrest – chained to a Roman guard! Have you ever wondered what it was like to sneak away from Roman guards? How did it feel to be one of the very first Christians? The children will become a part of history as they see, hear, touch and even taste what it was like to live in Rome during this exciting time!

They will explore authentic Marketplace shops, actually visit Paul and hear his teachings, sneak to the cave where the Underground Church meets, take part in ancient Roman games, dance to lively Bible songs, and sample tasty tidbits as they discover more about the early church. These experiences make God’s Word come alive with new meaning for all who participate!

The adventure will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26th and will continue Monday through Wednesday, July 27th-29th from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. VBS is for children 4 years old through 5th grade; but, your whole family is welcome to join in the fun! And there is no charge for this incredible event!
