God is a Refuge

God does not extend his love and favor to a chosen few.  In fact, His love is given as a refuge from trouble, a protection from evil to all those who love him.  He will never leave or forsake His children and “hides” them from the attacks of the enemy.

“How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings.” (Ps. 36:7)

O God, I cry out to you today and ask for your unfailing love to reach me.  Be my refuge from the pressures of life and from those who are against me.  I will rest comfortably in your protection. In Jesus’ name, Amen
