The Pursuit of Prayer

More than formulas and repetition real prayer is about pursuing God. At its deepest level prayer is a humble admission that you are not in control, and that He is. That’s why pursuing God in prayer is the best way to start your day.
“O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.” (Psalm 63:1) God, teach me to hunger after you each and every day. I put you in complete control of my day. In Jesus name, Amen.
