Your possessions define your destiny

“Go sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come follow me.” Mark 10:21

Possessions in this world are gifts from the Lord (James 1:17) but they can also keep you from being free to follow the voice of the Lord.

How much better would it be if the ownership of your assets were titled to the Lord, and you were free to listen to the only Wise One for direction, provision and for opportunities to give generously to others.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, You are the only Wise One. I ask you today to grant me the courage to release the grip I have on my possessions so that You can use them for Your purposes.  Help me to become generous to those in need so that I can show you that I choose You above what I can see around me.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
