God wants you to live righteously and give generously

“You give a tenth of your goods, but you neglect the more important matters of justice, mercy and faithfulness.  You should have [done both].” Matthew 23:23

Giving to your local church is a giant part of releasing God’s blessing in your life.  Why?  A Jesus following community of believers is the best place to find healing and to invest in others.  When you live honorably with others and give generously, God promises ample provision and the richness of life to come your way.

Prayer: Dear Lord, Teach me today to live uprightly before You and others and to give generously to Your House.  I know that as I make Your priorities mine, I will begin to inherit the healing and blessing that You have in store for me. Help me to find joy in giving!  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
