God deserves the honor

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have enough room for it.” Malachi 3:10

God asks you today to test Him, to prove if His word is true.  It is an amazingly simple proposition.  His request?  Bring one tenth of your time, talent and treasure as a no strings attached offering to the local place of spiritual nourishment (your local church). His promise?  A flood of blessing that you can not contain!

Prayer: Dear Lord, You have placed Your Name and reputation on the line for me.  Today I would like to test You and Your Word.  I will bring to church a tenth of my total income, and I will offer my time and my talent. Then I will watch to see Your miracle power at work in my life.  As I give to Your House I trust You wll provide for mine. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
