Daily Insight: God Preserves

Jonah 1:17 “But the LORD provided a great fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was inside the fish three days and three nights.”

Even in the midst of God’s judgment He prepared a way of preservation for Jonah. God is the only one that will confront us with the truth, but never use it against us. God’s righteous love prepares a way for our preservation and restoration. God wants us to succeed.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love. Like the Psalmist, I ask that You examine and test me. If there is anything in me that needs cleansing , remove it far from me. You preserve me from all evil. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
